October 12, 2019 – Seattle, Washington: In collaboration with the University of Washington, the National Science Foundation and Recurrence, Inc.; Redmer Productions has developed and launched a new gamulation that simulates the challenges that young entrepreneurs will face when starting a new company.

Students start out by selecting which city in the US to start the company and how many founders there will be.  They then seek initial financing from various sources.  Funding levels are determined based on regionalized data stipulated by the National Science Foundation.

Once students have set up their companies, they will face real life situations and will need to decide how to handle them.  Their choices will lead them down many different paths and they will face new obstacles based on the decisions they made.  Overall, their actions will impact the financial status of the company and the levels of satisfaction of their customers, employees and stockholders as they lead the company through four stages of development; pre-revenue, early revenue, valley of death, and sustainable business.

Students will be accompanied by an in-game mentor that will provide guidance based on academically accepted literature.  They will later be tested on their comprehension of the material.

In addition, the gamulation also measures each student’s psychological capital.  Students will answer questions that measure their levels of hope, efficacy, resiliency, and optimism.

Upon completion of the product, students will receive an Entrepreneurial Leadership Development Report that will include their literature score (can be used to issue a grade), their phycological capital HERO scores, how much revenue they have and the levels of their customer, employee and stockholder satisfaction.
