July 24, 2020 – Round Rock, Texas:

RedmerU in collaboration with Texas State University’s College of Health Professions will launch a trial of a new leadership gamulation (digital signature case study) developed for students pursuing careers in healthcare.  This fall semester, Dr. De De Gardner will debut the product within the Department of Respiratory Care.

“The Respiratory Care Leadership and Management course is looking forward to the adoption of the RedmerU gamulation signature case studies. I am particularly interested in the decision making the learners will complete as well as the learners’ perception of their experiences with these signature case studies.”

Students will be presented with several key challenges impacting leaders in today’s healthcare world.  They will be asked to address the impacts of COVID-19 on healthcare providers, caregiver burnout, impact of telehealth, capitated pay, communications, and more.

Each decision a student makes, impacts patient, caregiver and stockholder satisfaction. In addition, each student’s leadership style will be measured based on the actions taken.
